Why I am here.
Why am I here...?
A simple question, not so simple to answer. Moreover, depending on the day, I could give you quite different answers.
If we focus only on why I am studying English and not other language, I could tell you that I am the kind of person who likes to finish what he or she begins. It is not that I am not interested at all in learning other languages, it is just that by the time English has my whole attention. I would like to add that for me, English is an absolutely necessary tool to face the world.
I´m studying English at ENALLT because I am enrolled at UNAM, and for us who are alumni at UNAM, we can study languages at practically no cost. And besides from that, in my not so long experience here, I have always had splendid courses at ENALLT.
Right now I am not looking forward to get a certification in English, but I am trying to perfect my English trough the courses I have taken. I am aware that my English is not so good, although I think this brings me a step closer to what I am trying to achieve.
Here at ENALLT, I can get along with people who are students, just like me, and I like the atmosphere that is created by this: even though in most cases our majors are distinct, we all have goals in common and we share interests and I feel part of a community.
So, those are, in a very general way, the reasons why I study English at ENALLT. I do not think I have more things to say about this topic, so sorry for the short text and I apology if my answers were brief.

I share the same feeling of community and brotherhood here at UNAM. 🙌
ResponderEliminarI like the way you think, you share your thoughts in a way that everyone can understand you.
ResponderEliminarI agree, UNAM offers it's community the best opportunities, and we must take them.
It's true, in ENALLT you meet very interesting people, even people that make you mature with them.
Is nice that you only dedicate to one language, in my experience is sometimes exhausting to learn 2 languages or more. I think that we should do the same as you, put all our efforts at first to finish English language.
ResponderEliminarI agree with your opinion about the atmosphere in this course, is very very nice!
Please, do not apologize. Your text is quite clear, easy to read and practically error-free. I studied here at UNAM, too and I know exactly what you mean regarding the whole experience of sharing time and space with exceptional people. At the risk of being a cliché, I'll say that you'll remember these years as the best of your life!
ResponderEliminarIs interesting know that you are not looking for a certification, even you can enjoy more the courses and make these years the best or funniest of your life.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you. For me definitively is a privilege study in the UNAM, and always is a pleasant experience to improve in something.
ResponderEliminarYeah, I have noticed the diversity of minds that we can meet at the ENALLT courses.
ResponderEliminarGreat writing!
As changing beings is common that we start something before finish the others, so I think you have a point, the last year I was studying English and German but at the end I didn't connect with any of them.
ResponderEliminarA brief answer can be a good answer and yours is a good answer.
ResponderEliminarEnglish is nowadays a necessary tool and your learning it, that's it.
I haven't been in the ENALLT for long but it feels like a good atmosphere.
